Amanda McCarthy

As Partner Services Manager for the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB), Amanda is responsible for promoting partners to Sacramento visitors by providing them with SCVB benefits including promotional listings, networking opportunities, monthly mailings and more. In addition, she works directly with the Partner Marketing team to champion and maintain relationships with event sponsors.
Amanda graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism. She has worked for hunger relief organizations in Seattle and San Diego and brings 7 years of non-profit management experience to the SCVB.
She and her husband relocated to Sacramento in August 2006. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys hiking, gardening and spending time with friends.
